Do you love dancing? Does music move you to be in motion? Have you ever wanted to be a part of the Marching Panthers, but you don't play an instrument? Come check out the 2019 M-CHS Colorguard Workshops! Coaches Gray and Coach Doolen will be leading free weekly workshops on Mondays and Thursdays in the band room, from 5-6:30 PM, starting on Monday, March 18th. Come meet some great new people, and see what colorguard is all about!


The 18th Annual Southern Ute Career Fair is back and will be held at Ignacio High School on Wednesday, April 17th 2019. The fair will run from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. There will be a sign-up sheet in the Guidance Office if you would like to travel over with our school. Your dream job may be waiting for you.


The French and Spanish Club and Ms. McPherson would like to invite all who are interested in learning about the Peace Corps, and Ms. McPherson's experience in Madagascar.  Come to room 2203 Tuesday, March 19th, at lunch. Join in the fun and make an African dish to share!

It's the 23rd Annual National Student Poetry Contest! Entry deadline is April 30th. Students may submit one poem via the instant online entry form or by mail. To view requirements, information, and to submit an entry,  visit:


The Youth Leadership Council will has named next week as “Kindness Week”! We will have a different “kindness” skill to practice each day. Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give.


Do you have a talent that has been waiting for a chance to shine? Montezuma’s Got Talent is coming to the M-CHS Auditorium on Friday, April 26th. Talent act applications are DUE this month on MARCH 29th. Grand Prize is $500! Judges include Gary Cook from the Bar D Wranglers! We can’t wait to see you take the stage!
